Early Years
 

Children are accepted into the Nursery class at the age of three years for a September start.  All children have a full time place.  Currently the school day starts at 8.40am and finishes at 3.00pm, in line with the whole school.  Children should be dressed in school uniform and trainers/plimsolls they can manage themselves. Reception children wear the full school uniform.

Children in Nursery and Reception follow a wide programme of activities planned by the Teacher and support staff.  Each child receives the widest possible range of learning experiences and opportunities for exploration.

There is no automatic entry to the school for a place in the Reception class from the Nursery Class.  A separate application must be made for a place in the school.
